In 2007, Rob established Desert Mac Specialists to deliver the kind of personalized, high-quality service he knew customers deserved — service that large stores simply couldn’t match. His background as lead technician at a local Apple reseller, where his team achieved near-flawless repair scores, gave him the expertise and reputation that clients still trust today.
Long before streaming was mainstream, Rob was already innovating: In 2001 he coordinated the live internet broadcast of the City of Palm Desert’s Golf Cart Parade using multi-mile Wi-Fi and Apple servers. The following year he led a team filming and editing a full presentation shown the same night at Indian Wells Tennis Garden — all on G4 PowerMacs with Final Cut Pro.
